Egypt has placed education at the top of its priorities as the main pillar for building the state towards a new stage of leadership. Quality in education has become a national demand that all strata of the people have agreed upon without compromise. Therefore, the convening of the educairo’19 conference at this time coincides with the announcement of Egypt’s head of state that 2019 is the year of education, in tandem with Egypt’s 2030 vision for digital empowerment in education (empowerment of students, teachers and schools). The conference plays a pivotal role in this through attracting internationally recognized expertise on the best use of digital technology to improve the quality of education. educairo’19 aims to find effective mechanisms to achieve effective results on the quality of Egyptian education and to prepare a creative and innovative student who can deal with advanced digital technology commensurate with his/her skills and needs of the labor market.
